TOKYO KEIKI INC. (Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Tsuyoshi Ando) is pleased to announce that, on 30 June 2026, its “Malaysia / Demonstration Project on Radar Systems and a Digital Integration Platform for Maritime Domain Awareness” was selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)’s FY2025 Supplementary Budget Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation Project Subsidy (Small-Scale Demonstration and Feasibility Study Projects).
The selected project aims to explore the feasibility of introducing radar systems and a digital integration platform to enhance maritime domain awareness in Malaysia, with a view to supporting future project development and expansion across ASEAN and beyond.

Through this project, TOKYO KEIKI will leverage its technologies and expertise developed in the fields of Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and maritime surveillance to explore the feasibility of introducing radar systems and a digital integration platform to enhance maritime domain awareness in Malaysia.
Following the project’s selection for the FY2025 Supplementary Budget Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation Project Subsidy (Small-Scale Demonstration and Feasibility Study Projects) administered by METI, TOKYO KEIKI will conduct studies and demonstration activities based on local needs and operational conditions, with the aim of contributing to future project development.
