TOKYO KEIKI Group Human Rights Policy

   The TOKYO KEIKI Group (hereinafter referred to as “the Group”) believes that one of our most important responsibilities is to respect the human rights of all individuals affected by our business activities in the countries and regions where we operate. We are also committed to ensuring the physical and mental well-being of our people and providing a safe and secure working environment. Accordingly, we have expressed our commitment to upholding human rights in our Sustainability Policy. To further deepen this commitment and align with international human rights standards, we have established the TOKYO KEIKI Group Human Rights Policy.
   This policy applies to all executives and employees of the Group. We also expect our business partners to endorse and uphold its principles.

1. Compliance with Laws and Respect for International Standards Guiding Princ

   The Group complies with the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which it operates. We also respect international standards, including the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

2. Respect for Human Rights Across All Business Activities

   The Group is committed to respecting human rights in every aspect of its business activities:

(1) We will ensure the health and safety of our employees while providing a comfortable and supportive working environment.
(2) We will not tolerate any behavior that undermines human dignity, including abuse of authority or sexual harassment, nor will we engage in discrimination based on gender, nationality, age, disability, or other such attributes.
(3) We will collaborate with our business partners to address human rights issues within our supply chain:
  a) We will not conduct business with companies that engage in forced labor through violence, threats, or debt bondage, or that employ children below the minimum age as defined by international standards.
  b) We are committed to responsible sourcing practices that avoid the use of conflict minerals potentially linked to forced or child labor.

3. Human Rights Due Diligence

   The Group will identify human rights risks associated with its business activities through a human rights due diligence framework. If we determine that we have caused or may have caused an adverse impact on human rights, we will take corrective action through appropriate procedures. Where our business partners are found to be involved, we will encourage them to take corrective measures as well.

4. Grievance Mechanism

   When the Group receives reports or inquiries related to human rights risks from employees or business partners, it will respond appropriately, including engaging in dialogue with the relevant parties where necessary.

5. Education and Training

   The Group will provide appropriate education and training to executives and employees to ensure that the initiatives set out in this policy are effectively implemented across all business activities.

6. Disclosure

   The Group will disclose information on its human rights initiatives through its website and other channels.
