Toward a New Standard for Inclinometers.
Tokyo Keiki’s proposal.
Installation of an electronic inclinometer is mandatory on certain vessels*.
The TI-100 series is a high-precision electronic inclinometer developed by Tokyo Keiki, drawing on decades of expertise in marine instruments.
It fully complies with IMO performance standards and has obtained MED type approval.
In addition, its high visibility LCD display supports safer navigation on board your vessel.
*Applicable to container ships and bulk carriers of 3,000 gross tonnage or more constructed on or after January 1, 2026
Features
High-Precision Inclination Angle Measurement
Our proprietary high-precision sensor and calculation algorithm achieve accuracy and a wide measurement range
that exceed international performance requirements.
In addition to heel angle, roll amplitude, and roll period required by the standards, optional functions enable the measurement and display of trim angle, pitch amplitude, and pitch period.
Multiple output ports are also provided to transmit signals to various onboard systems, including VDRs.
Compact and Lightweight̶Installable in Steering Stands
By reducing the size and weight of both the sensor and control units, all components including the 3.5-inch display can be installed inside our autopilot (steering stand).
This minimizes installation space and reduces wiring.
Versatile Functions and Display Options
Standard functions include displaying the distance between the ship’s center of gravity (G) and metacenter (M), as well as a motion monitoring function*.
Three display options are available depending on installation location and purpose: 3.5-inch LCD (UD-10), 10.4-inch LCD (UD-100), and 15-inch LCD (UD-1000).
A sub-display can also be added for remote monitoring, enabling inclination monitoring from locations such as the engine control room or captain’s cabin.
*An alarm is activated when the ship’s inclination exceeds the preset threshold.
