TOKYO KEIKI’s solutions ~For Sewage Application~

Recently, the damage of water disasters caused by heavy rain or flood are getting more serious than the past. In many countries, it is necessary to make the counter-measure for such water disasters immediately. To avoid the over-flooding of water, the counter-measure in sewage water networks is required as one of solutions. Flood control is one of the method and we introduce our products which can contribute for Flood control.

Open Channel Ultrasonic Flowmeter UW-D Series

This is Ultrasonic Flowmeter for open channel especially for sewage, waste water, and industrial effluent. Which gathered the expertise and know-how from TOKYO KEIKI’s long term history for dealing with Ultrasonic Flowmeter. The measurement principle is Pulse Doppler method which detects the ultrasonic reflection and changing frequency from the object floating on water surface. Such as slurry, dust, leaves etc. Combining a flow velocity sensor and a level sensor data, then indicate the flow rate on transmitter. Applicable for several shapes of open channel: Rectangular, Circular, etc.




Hybrid Level Gauge HC-10

Next one is Hybrid Level Gauge HC-10. This is made of combining Flat Non-contacting Radar sensor and Contacting Pressure sensor. At normal time, non-contacting radar sensor measures water level at low level in waste water. At emergency time like flooding, when the water surface increased up to radar sensor’s max range, contacting pressure sensor starts to measure without any gaps of data. And pressure sensor can continue to measure the overflowed water from manhole. Hence, HC-10 can achieve the continuous measurement of increasing water surface seamlessly. It means we can contribute for level monitoring of waste water and flooding alert by HC-10.



We developed HC-10 with Japan Sewage Works Agency to supply the solution for the needs of monitoring and information of flood-hazardous areas.
In Japan, increasing undetected water caused by rusted pipe lines give the big stress to waste water treatment plant.

HC-10 can achieve least maintenance and continuous measurement with Non-contacting radar and Contacting pressure sensors. Both sensors calibrate the other sensor each other.
Radar sensor calibrate pressure sensor, and pressure sensor calibrate radar sensor. Hence HC-10 can keep the accurate measurement and be reliable against the unexpected disaster.
