In this time we introduce two applications for oil measurement.
Measurement detail : Crude oil
Purpose of use : Simple monitoring (visually check). If there is no flow, check the tank or pump.
Measurement: Diesel oil
Purpose of use: Fuel monitoring. Fuel pipeline in engine room has characteristics, “bending here and there” and “controlling fuel temperature”. So clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter has a good repeatability of output, this is applicable to fuel monitoring even if fuel pipeline is bending & winding in engine room.
Because of Clamp-on type, UFW-100 do not require pipe cutting, stopping a flow, bypass pipe line. These features provide you the benefits like cost effectivity, wide working space, least maintenance, etc.
In the case below, UFW-100 is installed on the pipeline from Feed Pump to Fuel Filter, and Injection Nozzle to Fuel Tank.
The “Intelligent digital UFW-100” stationary, clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter with transducers placed on the outside of pipes provides stable-instantaneous flow rate measurements. Even oil, our UFW-100 can have smooth echo wave without any noise by original digital-echo handling algorithm as below.
By employing the UFW-100 stationary clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter in combination with the easy set-up function on the Windows-based graphical & user-friendly PC interface is easy to configure through such as “Wizard-parameter input”, “Echo-wave check & monitoring (as above indicated) ”, “Auto-Logging function”, “Analog input” and / or “Integrated mounting fixture”. Through such easy setup function, you may be able to obtain high accuracy flow measurements of pipes from 25mm up to 600mm in nominal diameter with±30m/s velocity range coverage.
In addition, the all-in-one UFW-100 main unit boasts 1 Analog output, 1 Contact output for totalizing or warning, 1 Digital communication port RS-232C as standard, another port for RS-485 (Option) and Analog input (Option).
