Today, our products play an active role in national security, safety, the achievement of higher navigation efficiencies and protection of our environment.

Pioneering radar technology

TOKYO KEIKI pioneered the manufacture of Japan's first radar system in 1952 and Ku Band VTS radar has been contributing to Japanese VTS since 1970. For instance, Tokyo Keiki’s Ku Band VTS radar is being used to monitor the Tokyo Bay Uraga Channel, a challenging environment, where daily traffic exceeds 500 vessels and heavy rainfall as well as typhoons occur frequently.

Our new Ku Band solid-state Radar (SeaKu-1400 Series) has been introduced to enhance the safety of navigation and protection of the maritime environment globally. Our unique signal processing algorithms can improve monitoring performance by decreasing heavy volume clutter from critical maritime environments that typically are difficult to monitor due to rain, clouds, fog or waves.
Through continuous innovation we have achieved an outstanding level of expertise in designing, engineering and manufacturing radar systems.

Tokyo Keiki designs, manufactures and integrates a full range of RF and Microwave devices, modules and systems. One of our achievements is the use of a Ku Band GaN(gallium nitride) chip-based Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA), a component derived from our highly reliable defence solutions, which now is at the heart of our VTS radar systems. This revolutionary microwave module offers unrivalled performance and a long lifetime without maintenance.
